 Cultural Evening Marks Third Day of Sacred Exposition

The third day of the Sacred Exposition of the Holy Relics of Lord Buddha in UT Ladakh was marked by a vibrant cultural evening organised by the Administration of UT Ladakh in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, and the North Zone Cultural Centre, Patiala. The programmes are being held daily from May 2 to May 13, 2026.

    

Shri Jaiveer Singh, Hon’ble Cabinet Minister for Tourism and Culture, Uttar Pradesh, attended as the Chief Guest. Shri Surendra Singh, IAS, Secretary to the Chief Minister, Uttar Pradesh, was also present.

The evening featured Lharna, Ale Yato by the Zanskar Valley Cultural Group, Shondol Dance by Yaya Cultural Group, Leh, along with performances by artists from Madhya Pradesh and Odisha. Folk songs by Tsering Stanzin, Padma Dorjay, and Laskyab added to the charm.

     

The programme concluded with an energetic performance by the Rolyangs Band.
