Shey Srubla

Shey village in Ladakh celebrates the sacred festival of Shey Rhubla (often pronounced Srubla), a harvest-related ritual where the oracle Dorje Chenmo is welcomed to bless the community before the fields turn golden. This marks the divine start of the harvest season and is one of the most important cultural traditions of Shey.
