SUMMARY:Modern Science & Buddhist Philosophy\, A talk by Ven. Geshe Dorji D
 amdul
DESCRIPTION:Science and Buddhism\, we are looking at two methods of underst
anding truth. Science mainly deals with the external world through observat
ion\, measurement\, and experiment. Buddhism\, however\, focuses on the inn
er world—our mind\, emotions\, and consciousness. But there is no contrad
iction between them. Both encourage us to question\, to analyze\, and to ve
rify through experience. In Buddhism\, we study suffering and how to overco
me it\, while science studies the brain and human behavior. When these two
come together\, they can enrich each other—science providing outer knowle
dge\, and Buddhism offering inner wisdom for a more peaceful and meaningful
  life. \n \n[embed]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JLXdrktNh18[/embed]\n
