SUMMARY:Modern Science & Buddhist Philosophy\, A talk by Ven. Geshe Dorji D
 amdul
DESCRIPTION:Kushok Bakula Rinpochey Memorial Lecture Series 1.\nscience and
Buddhism\, we are looking at two methods of understanding truth. Science m
ainly deals with the external world through observation\, measurement\, and
  experiment. Buddhism\, however\, focuses on the inner world—our mind\, e
motions\, and consciousness. But there is no contradiction between them. Bo
th encourage us to question\, to analyze\, and to verify through experience
. In Buddhism\, we study suffering and how to overcome it\, while science s
tudies the brain and human behavior. When these two come together\, they ca
n enrich each other—science providing outer knowledge\, and Buddhism offe
ring inner wisdom for a more peaceful and meaningful life.\n
